Dalian Maritime University - Training event March 2015
As part of CESM’s preparation for readiness, it has been quietly training its Chinese junior officers at Dalian Maritime University (DMU). In March 2015, we trained the following people to a SIGTTO operating standard, using MOL’s techniques that have been hard-learned over the years and which is practiced in their excellent training centre in Montenegro.
On this occasion our trainees were:
Once again, MOL’s lecturer from Montenegro, Captain Dejan Milinic excelled himself and provided us with ten more, well trained junior officers. Captain Milinic is a credit to the industry and is absolutely dedicated to the success of the project. Such dedication is obvious, when at the end of the two-week program, the officer trainees are able to produce presentations on various aspects of LNG, with confidence and in English language.
CESM’s DGM Mr. Luo Shaobin attended at the beginning of the course together with Matsubara San from MOL’s LNG Division and representatives from MOL’s Safety Management Division.
At the end of the program, CESM’s GM presented each of the program-graduates their certificates, which were well earned.
